Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival

Your safari starts early morning in Kasane at 09h00, you depart for a River Cruise excursion where you meander into the magical waterways of the majestic Chobe River.  For guests who are transferring across from either Livingstone or Victoria Falls Town, your transfer should be organized to arrive in Kasane by 08h30 in time for the boat cruise.  After your river cruise, we depart on our 6 hour transfer to the Savuti (Central Chobe)  arriving at the camp in the late afternoon where you will be welcomed by our camp staff.  Once you have settled in, we meet around the fire or main camp area for a safety briefing, camp procedures and safari etiquette. There is an opportunity to shower, relax and unwind while dinner is being prepared. After dinner, the evening under the African stars awaits .

Day 2 and Day 3:
Savuti Exploration

Although the routine for these days follow the same pattern, every day brings new perspectives and a multitude of new sightings. We discover new areas new memories are made.  An early wake up calls invites you to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and rusks at the main camp area overlooking pure wilderness.

We depart on our early morning game drive to explore Savuti and should return to camp at about 10h30 to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. After breakfast take time out to read a book, siesta or simply take in the majestic vistas and connect to nature.

High Tea will be served at around 15h00, after which we depart on our game drive into Savuti or take a short hike up the volcanic rock to view the bushmen rock paintings estimated to be more than 3000 years old. Sundowners will be served at a scenic spot affording unforgettable memories. A roaring fire and a delicious meal awaits upon your return. Share your adventures around the fire, gaze into the unbelievable star studded sky above and settle in for the night in the African Bush.

Day 4:
Transfer Day (Savuti to Khwai)

This morning we leave a desert like landscape, we continue our journey south to the Khwai Nature Reserve area. We reach camp at approximately 16h00. A late afternoon game drive is available for those that want to set off on another adventure but you are also most welcome to relax and enjoy the serenity and peace of the camp after a long day. Sundowners around the fire followed by a tasty dinner that awaits.

Day 5 and Day 6:
Khwai Exploration

Wake up to the sound of gentle giants cracking a twig as they walk past the camp to head out for their morning drink of water. Watch the elephants walk past as you crunch down on your warm rusks. After breakfast we depart on our early morning game drive to explore the Khwai area and should return to camp at about 10h30 to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast.

Khwai allows a mokoro excursion during the afternoon will take place subject to water levels – we venture into the magical waterways of Khwai for about two hours. Sundowners will be served at a scenic spot affording unforgettable memories. Khwai also allows for night drives so your afternoon drive will be extended by an hour to see what the night life has to offer. A roaring fire and a delicious meal await upon your return. Share your adventures around the fire, gaze into the unbelievable star studded sky above and settle in for the night in the African Bush.

Day 7:
Transfer from Khwai to Moremi Game Reserve

Wake up to the roar of the mighty roaming lions as you drink a cup of freshly brewed coffee. After your last game drive in Khwai, we head further south west en-route to Moremi Game reserve – enjoy a packed lunch in a shady spot along the way.  We enter Moremi and reach camp at approximately 16h00. Again a late afternoon game drive is available for those that want to set off on another adventure but you are also most welcome to relax and enjoy the serenity and peace of the camp after a long day. Sundowners around the fire followed by a tasty dinner that awaits. Spend the evening sitting around the fire listening to the calls of nature as the night sets in.

Day 8 & 9:
Moremi Game Reserve exploration

An early wake up calls invites you to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and rusks at the main camp area overlooking pure wilderness. We depart on our early morning game drive to explore the Moremi area and should return to camp at about 10h30 to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast. We are very flexible with time when we out there in the bush enjoying the sightings. After breakfast take time out to read a book, siesta or simply take in the majestic vistas and connect to nature.

High Tea will be served at around 15h00, after which we depart on our afternoon game drive. Sundowners will be served at a scenic spot affording unforgettable memories of this African tradition.

Day 10:
Departure day

We will awaken you with a traditional “KOKO” to start the day. Enjoy an early morning tea/coffee and rusks and set off on your last game drive on-route to the Maun/ Maun International Airport. A light breakfast will be served in a scenic spot overlooking the water giving you the last opportunities to take in nature at its best and reflect on your amazing adventure.

Our guides will ensure you reach will reach Maun at about 11h30 , allowing for plenty of time to check in and ensure all is okay with your

Departure flight. After you have checked in, we will serve some light snacks and say our final goodbyes.
